subscription site will not work, the minute people hear that many will take off and go elsewhere since there are so many free sites to get "nearly" the same quality at nearly the same small filesize. thats why i think DC should just do the utmost to make the site profitable through advertising, click thru like linkbucks etc and it front and center that this is what is expected of people who use the site. they need to turn off ad blockers, click thru all the links so as the site can stay around for the long term and not just use jdown etc that may (not sure if it does or not) reduce the ability of minirlss to make funds on clicks thru sites like linkbucks and we NEED to have a comments/chat available on the site all the time so that we can all be in communication and know whats going on, what shows are missing, link problems and know the general status of the funds for the site - as in we are needing more since linkbucks and ads are not enought this month so we need $75 usd to be donated in the next week, so everyone donates $1 and DC now has enough and maybe a few $ to put towards next month and it starts all over again.
forgot to mention - why not have people buy uploaded accounts using minirlss set up referral system. That way DC/minirlss get paid/donations in a simple way that doesnt include paypal etc and the person donating gets something useful in return that they can download from minirlss uploaded links and other sites at fast full speed. its a win win for everyone IMO doing something like that and I know other sites do this as well to help them stay profitable and they say its easier and better than direct donations. I assume this way they have their reasons but if it works for other teams it should easily work for DC/Minirlss.
